Welcome to Five Town Community School District Nutrition Services Department!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

LUNCH PROGRAM - School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families. School cafeterias are meeting new federal nutrition standards for breakfast and lunch, ensuring that meals are healthy and well balanced. We are always working to offer students healthier and tastier choices. This includes supporting local farms, chef-to-school programs, and incorporating produce from our own school gardens into the daily menus.

Camden-Rockport Elementary School and Camden-Rockport Middle School participate in the National School Lunch Program. Forms for free and reduced lunch benefits are sent home on the first day of school. Any student who qualified for these benefits during the previous school year will continue to receive benefits on a temporary basis, and will need to reapply for the new school year within 30 days. We encourage any family to apply that needs to, and applications may be submitted at any time during the school year.

We offer breakfast in the cafeteria every morning. Breakfast is $1.50 (no charge for free or reduced), and Lunch is $3.00 (no charge for free or reduced).

Monthly menus are sent home with each student, and are also available on our website. We look forward to welcoming your children to the cafeteria!

The Wave Café at Camden Hills Regional High School opens at 7:30 am for breakfast and is open for break and lunch. All offerings are in accordance with the National School Lunch Program guidelines. We are a Farm-To-School café, purchasing and utilizing as much locally produced food as possible. A breakfast Meal Deal must consist of three (3) items, with one being fruit or vegetable, and the lunch Meal Deal consists of up to five (5) items, with at least one being a fruit or vegetable.
